Improve your employability or start up your own business.  Participants will undergo an 18-month programme which will enable the gaining of practical workplace experience, while simultaneously undergoing further upskilling through the Intrepreneur / Entrepreneur Training Programme designed specifically to provide the participant with knowledge of applied entrepreneurship and business management skills. 

Drawing from the vast culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, this unique entrepreneurship programme introduces participants to business venture creation, innovative models, and global entrepreneurial networks. It covers the entire venture creation process, from generating ideas to building viable businesses, with a special emphasis on the nurturing roles of corporations, universities, governments, and foundations. Hence the programme aims at:

·        Ensuring learners make a viable contribution to their placement company and are absorbed in the work environment.

·        The Cadet Programme responds to the vocational and entrepreneurial needs of unemployed youth in South Africa.

The course spans over 18 months, Month 1-9 (Phase A) and Month 10-18 (Phase B).  Once on-boarded, students will undergo an 18 months learnership during which time they will gaining practical workplace experience in their field of study, while at the same time undergoing further upskilling through the Intrapreneur / Entrepreneur Training Programme designed specifically to provide the students with knowledge and applied entrepreneurship and business management skills.  As part of programme management, ongoing learner assessments and overall programme monitoring, evaluation and reporting will take place.  At the end of the programme, a comprehensive close out 

report will be delivered outlining the overall performance of the programme and areas of learning and improvement going forward.
